Yesterday, not only did I go to the Port Adelaide-Collingwood game to see The Power win convincingly, then win a signed football at the after game function. I came home to Duck Agnolotti paired with a delicious 2013 Spring Vale Pinot Noir.
I had been saving this one as I thought it would be good and I was not disappointed. Spring Vale is on the Freycinet Coast on the East Coast of Tasmania.
The palate was so well balanced with subtle earth and elegant berry and plum fruit, the silky tannins worked wonderfully with the pasta. Thank you to the folk at Spring Vale for making a memorable finish to a great day.
